Grade 4
Welcome to Grade 4's web page.
Hi my name is Peter Arnold I am the Grade 4 teacher at ISB.
We are an enthusiastic, open-minded, Knowledgeable and caring group of people that come from many different parts of the world including; Australia, Korea, Japan, Norway, Canada, the USA, Malaysia, Finland, India and Denmark. We are an inquiring group of people who love finding out about many things from Korea and from around the world.
In Grade 4, we will work on six PYP Units of Inquiry this year, so far we have been learning all about human rights and responsibilities and next we will be looking at 'how we express ourselves' by inquiring about different beliefs people from around the world have. In Grade 4 we learn by asking questions and finding answers from many resources including; books and the internet, by asking people and going to different places and by observing how things work. We also love to find out about what is going on in the world so we keep an eye on current events too.
At our school we do many other activities including; sport and PE where,so far this term, we have been training for the cross country carnival and learning how to play cricket; learning Korean and Spanish; we have music and singing classes and many of us learn a musical instrument; we learn about ICT and lots of our learning and presentations are done on computers; we also have after school electives where we get to choose from many different activities. There is always something happening at ISB
