The Mission of the International School of Busan
The Mission Statement of the International School of Busan is to develop inquiring, respectful and knowledgeable individuals through a globally recognised international programme that encourages all students to achieve their intellectual and personal potential.To this end:
We are non-denominational and non-political with a diverse and international school community engendering a respect for, and appreciation of, cultural differences and beliefs.We provide a balanced international curriculum that is continuously assessed, reflected upon and developed.We develop knowledgeable students by providing for different learning styles and abilities.We create open minded students by taking advantage of the language, culture and learning opportunities of Korea and the students’ home countries.We develop caring students who understand the importance of service to the wider community.We encourage the understanding that education is the shared responsibility of the whole school community.
