Music at ISB
ISB Students from Preschool to Grade 8 all have two music classes per week with a specialist music teacher. From Grade 9 to 12 music classes are optional (IGCSE and IB) but students can still take instrumental lessons and participate in the large number of music activities on offer.
Instrumental Music Tuition at ISB
Individual instrumental music lessons are available at ISB on a very wide variety of instruments for the size of the school. We have a committed and very professional team of visiting teachers working with students of all ages and abilities. Currently we offer lessons on the following instruments:
Woodwind - Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone
Strings - Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass
Brass - Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Baritone/Tuba
Piano, Guitar & Bass Guitar

ISB is an exam centre for Associated Board Music Exams (www.abrsm.org) and every year an examiner visits the school to assess some of our students and also external candidates.
