Teaching Assistants
Laura comes from Korea. She has for worked for Lloyd’s Register, and Chevron, both shipping, companies for three years as a member of the administration team. Before returning to Korea, she taught Korean at Perth Korean School in Australia from 2004 to 2007. She also did interpretation and translation for Busan Office of Australian International Development Program until July 2009. Laura enjoys outdoor activities with her family, learning new things, socialising with friends and meeting new people.
Seije is a Busan native. She has been working in education for approximately three years, but took a lengthy break in 2006 to travel to Australia. While overseas, she enrolled in a TESOL course between trips around the countryside. Apart from spending time with children, she really enjoys travel and learning about new cultures.
Michelle comes from Busan, Korea. After finishing her degree in the university, she took English courses in the US whilst taking care of young children. Michelle worked in a Korean English academy for 7 years. Michelle likes taekwondo and scuba diving. She believes that although children are small, they have so much energy to explore and learn from mistakes. Joining ISB for the first time this year, Michelle is looking forward to working the little ones.
Geum Hee Lee is from Korea and has been teaching at ISB for many years now. She loves working with the young children and in her spare time she enjoys knitting and doing various crafts.
Helping in Playgroup is Jenny's first job. She enjoys working with young children. Jenny can play different musical instruments but prefers piano the most.
Ms Jo worked for the Marriott Hotel for one and a half years. She is interested in teaching English to kids, and went to Australia where she earned her postgraduate certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to speakers of other languages) at the University in Sydney. In her spare time, she likes to take walks and go hiking. She is also very interested in cultures and food of other countries.
