Middle School - Art
Welcome to ISB Middle School Art
Art in the middle school is all about students having fun and exploring different art mediums, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, printing, computer art and mixed media. Students are given the opportunity to express themselves creatively – developing their own individual responses, whilst learning about different art forms and contexts. They will focus on the Elements and Principles of Design to enhance their own artwork and to gain a better understanding of artists work. Throughout the year students will also be expected to critique their own work and that of other artists. Students also look forward to the annual art exhibition at the end of the year where they will have the opportunity to have their work displayed and to possibly sell their own work.To view the course syllabus for Grade 6, 7 and 8, please visit the Middle School Documents page.

This website is a developing school project which aims to provide a virtual exhibition space for student work. There is already a large quantity of Middle School art work on display and as it becomes better established there should be much more in the near future. Visit www.isbcreative.org
