img_6491On October 15, four high school students and two middle school students participated in the Cross Country race in Jeju.  All students set personal best records which were the highlight of the weekend.  One high school student was able to reduce their time by more than 10 minutes which exemplifies the Approaches to Learning (ATL) skill of perseverance.  Another member of the team demonstrated leadership by leading other members in warm-up activities independently and another member of the team demonstrated risk-taking by going on the trip as a new student to BIFS.  Many students also demonstrated balance by doing classwork on the trip without being prompted.  Thank you runners, for exhibiting such admirable characteristics on and off the path.
