Accreditation and Memberships

The International School of Busan is committed to providing a high quality education with internationally recognised standards. Such goals are not easy to achieve; it requires a curriculum that brings together the best of educational pedagogy from around the world; it takes consistent monitoring to ensure continuous development and it requires a dedicated and qualified teaching staff.

ISB is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and is a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS). The School is authorised to offer all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes – the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP).
 

ISB is an official test centre for the College Board SAT Exams and for ABRSM exams and a member or the East Asia Regional Council of Schools and the Korea Council of Overseas Schools (KORCOS).
