Welcome to the
International School of Busan!
It is a genuine pleasure to welcome you to our school community. Whether you are already part of the ISB family or are exploring our school for the first time,
I hope our website gives you a sense of what makes ISB such a special place to learn, grow, and belong.
When I first visited ISB, I was immediately struck by the warmth of the community. I met students who were curious and engaged, teachers who are passionate about their work, and parents and Board members who care deeply about the future of the school. It quickly became clear that ISB is much more than a school. It is a community built on strong relationships, shared purpose, and a commitment to helping every student thrive.

At ISB, we believe that learning is about more than academic success. Through our International Baccalaureate programmes, students are encouraged to think critically, ask meaningful questions, embrace new perspectives, and develop the confidence to make a positive difference in the world. Just as importantly, we want every student to feel known, supported, and inspired to become the very best version of themselves.
I believe the strongest schools are built on trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to continuous growth. My promise to our community is to listen carefully, lead with integrity, and work alongside our exceptional faculty, staff, students, families, and Board to build on the many strengths that already make ISB an outstanding school.
